Welcome to our first home! We bought our home in July 2011 and thought we would have it completely redone in 6 months. Hahahahaha! That just makes me laugh now. We aren't even CLOSE to being finished with the house and to think I was naive enough to believe we could completely redo our home in 6 months is ridiculous. I was delusional. I mean, Yes. It can be done. But we don't have the time to completely redo a home and make it our own overnight. So here we are a year and a half later and we have finished all of.... two rooms. Yes, two. Don't judge me. I'm incredibly indecisive. Even if we still have a lot of work to do, it's coming along and each day I feel like it's my home more so than the day before.
I hope to have the office, loft, and kids rooms revealed in the next couple months, but don't hold your breath. Parker's room was finished, but since he has outgrown his toddler bed, we are fixing to re-do the room and transform it to a BIG BOY room. Sheesh... I swear it is a non-stop process around the Brumley household.
I will continue to reveal as rooms are complete, and cannot wait until I have a final product to show!
